The Texas Electricity Professionals Association (TEPA) is a self-regulating body aimed at standardizing processes and ensuring aggregators, brokers, and consultants (A/B/C) maintain an acceptable level of market knowledge and responsibility while transacting in the marketplace. Not all brokers or consultants are licensed through the Public Utility Commission like iEnergy North America. TEPA members also abide by the strictest code of conduct in the industry to give you confidence that you have chosen a trusted professional.
Members of the A/B/C indirect sales channel community have come together with a common goal to provide a forum for developing common interests and upholding the integrity and maintaining the honor in the business of the deregulated retail electricity market in Texas.
Utilizing a TEPA-certified energy professional ensures that you are working with a company dedicated to providing quality and ethical service, not simply an agent to any one individual energy provider. iEnergy North America Energy Adcisors have a demonstrated acumen with regard to energy structuring and purchasing that allows you to focus on your business.
iEnergy North America requires that all of it's Energy Advisors obtain their Certified Electricity Professional certification. This certification is currently the only credential in the country that can be obtained by individuals to verify that they possess a minimum skill level when it comes to working with clients to address their energy needs.
The CEP certification is a voluntary credentialing process intended to establish a recognized standard of knowledge, competency and ethics; formally recognize those who meet these standards; and provide buyers seeking the services of an advisor, broker or consultant with a tool to identify skilled, knowledgeable professionals.
iEnergy North America became an Associate Member of the Texas Energy Managers Association in 2011 with a commitment to energy efficiency and energy management. Together we share in the goals of serving publicly-funded institutions by providing energy management and program design training. We look to provide public schools, hospitals, state and local governments, and public institutions of higher learning with the experience in the field of energy management. Together, iEnergy North America and TEMA look to establish the highest standards of ethics and efficiency for energy management methods and financing strategies.
